Version 1.1.0 of the javascript helper for ScriptX is now available on Nuget. Full source is available on GitHub.

The library provides wrappers on common functionality and has proved to be very popular with many developers deploying ScriptX to provide controlled and consistent printing from Internet Explorer on Windows.

Version 1.1 has a new implementation of the namespaces MeadCo and MeadCo.ScriptX. The new implementation allows extension of the namespace so that we can provide additional functionality in the future. The implementation is fully compatible with v1.0 of the library.

There are also improvements to MeadCo.Licensing with improved functions for obtaining descriptions of any error that has occurred and reporting the error to users.

New functions are MeadCo.ScriptX.BackgroundPrintURL() and MeadCo.ScriptX.BackgroundPrintHTML(). These wrap the ScriptX method PrintHtmlEx() and include logging progress to the console.

We will be continuing to develop the library as we progress with development of the brand new ScriptX examples and samples system. The new samples illustrate using ScriptX with modern HTML and Internet Explorer 11. We will be having more code to share from these developments in the next few weeks.
